Ho bisogno d'aiuto - Need your help

Sarebbe magnifico!

Desperately looking for this blue and white checkered linen of F.lli Graziano. I'd like to stitch this table cloth (90 x 90 cm at least) I found on an old issue of De Fil en Aiguille.
Unfortunately F.lli Graziano doesn't produce this linen anymore and I can't find it although I've tried all over the world.
I hope one of you has a little bit of it in her stash and can sell it to me or tell me where I can buy it.
It would be great!

Some months ago I found this gorgeous work on the blog "Il Telaio Povolaro". I discovered it was made by a very good  and fast stitcher, Lorena. I wrote her and now here I am with a new challenge.

I'm using a 12 ct linen from Sajou, called "taupe". But Lorena used a creamy linen and then she stitched the background with DMC 3871. I think it's easier and faster stitching on a dark fabric, and this linen from Sajou is not difficoult to stitch, actually.

Thank you, Lorena, for your help. She hasn't her own blog and it's a real pity because her works are so beautiful. I've seen them on the blog de "Il Telaio Povolaro".

Mi piacciono! - I like them!

Mi piacciono proprio tanto! I like them so much!

I love prints that illustrate the femininity of any age of the past (clothes, accessories, mannequins).
An alternative to the purchase of expensive old prints (I'm lucky to have some of them and without spending a fortune) is realizing by myself!

Il mio taccuino delle idee - My notebook of ideas

My mind is faster than my hands. I've always millions of projects and ideas that flash through my mind, that arise out of the blue, but no time to implement them.
A few months ago I set up a "notebook of ideas," a very personal notebook where I record everything that comes into my head but I can't make due to lack of time. At least it will be useful when I retire, because then I will be too old to remember all ;-) and projects designed will be so many that they can not be remembered ;-D !!!!

In the meantime, however, I do not think about it or else I discouraged. And then I have a severe headache, better relax browsing the blog of my friends and savor a nice cappuccino in my new shabby cup (you like? I was looking for it for years without having to spend a fortune and finally yesterday I found it!)

Soon I'm going to make a good pie! I'll show you tomorrow!

A welcome also to Jerry, a new reader of mine. I don't know anything about her, because she has left no comments. Hope she turns up soon.

Una nuova rosa da Veronique Enginger - A new rose from Veronique Enginger

This is the third pattern of Roses "études" from Veronique Enginger. It's called "Pullman Orient Express". Gorgeous fuchsia and yellow shades.

Il mio primo ricamo! - My first work!

Here it is: my first challenging work! I made it about two years ago! I came up to cross stitch because I ran into an issue of De Fil en Aiguille. So in a few months I've found all the issues. It happens on september 2010, the last issue of DFEA released on september 2009!
In the unconsciousness of a perfect beginner - because I'm a late self-taught - I thought I could create that gorgeous project. In fact, after only 10 days, armed with all my love, my good and strong will, I created this Xmas gift for a great friend of mine. I knew she would have appreciated an hand-made one, because she paints and crochets.
I loved and love this work so much! Every time I come and see Paola, my friend, I go to admire this box that she proudly put on a little table of her ancient parlour.
It's so tender remembering this work was stitched on cream Aida, because now I work only on linen.
I'm thinking to make it again, using a linen fabric with blue colours rather than pink and red ones and stitching my name on the left!

Eccolo:

One of my projects you can read among my wishlist down on this page is "Viva la pasta" from Veronique Enginger. Some friends of mine asked me what is it. Here it is:

Non è un amore? It's cute, isn't it?
I've just decided to begin this project next year, my kitchen claims it!

Mi è appena arrivato l'ultimo numero uscito

How cute is this magazine! I'm very glad to have made a subscription (it's the third time I renew it!) and to have all the issues, so I don't regret so much De File en Aiguille (sniff!)
I've just received tha last issue and those are my favourite projects.
They're from Veronique Enginger, one of my favourite designers with Laura Lattuada of Passione Ricamo and Nora Corbett of Mirabilia.
And what about the one in the fifth picture, the one with the soap?
It's always from Veronique Enginger, but it was published on CPCD n. 22. It's so different from all the other patterns. I think this style will get a footing. As I said, methink the vintage style from 50s or 60s is going to have a lot of success in cross stitch.
Anyway, if you wish to take a glance through the pages, click the button Création Point de Croix on the right side of this page and you will feel like Alice in Wonderland.
