Mi piacciono! - I like them!

Mi piacciono proprio tanto! I like them so much!

I love prints that illustrate the femininity of any age of the past (clothes, accessories, mannequins).
An alternative to the purchase of expensive old prints (I'm lucky to have some of them and without spending a fortune) is realizing by myself!

The Paradise

Waiting to see Downtown Abbey, I came across this BBC series called The Paradise. It'is a novel by Emile Zola and tells the story of Denise Lovett, a girl who comes to England to get a job at her uncle Edmund, a dressmaker with a tailor shop. Unfortunately, the overwhelming competition of the department store The Paradise does not allow Edmund to give her a work, so Denise decides to get a job at The Paradise, where she proves to be a woman full of initiative, earning the respect and the special consideration of the owner, the fascinating John Moray.
I like it incredibly, for the plot - which is much more complex then I have said -, for the actors, for the reconstruction of environments, time and customs.
Highly recommended to the passionates of period dramas.
