Stan spuntando le rose - Roses are popping up

Some time ago I bought this nice book, receiving some Vaupel e Heilenbeck threads as gift. I've never used them before.
Two months later, for an irresistible discount of Cascenina (click the button on the left side to find this online shop and take a look), I also bought the VeH fabric on the pic, that I've seen on that book. When I received it, I couldn't resist to try these new threads so I began a new project. The result is just a little bit odd for a stitcher like me who is fascinated by silky threads and by the brightness of Venus and ThreadworX threads. VeH ones are rather thick and opaque and on linen you must use only a single thread.
Instead, I've already used the VeH fabrics and they are rather confortable to stitch.
I've stitiched this first branch of roses in a few hours and now I've to stitch only five or four branches, I'll see. What a pity I haven't been smart enough to stitch on the short side of the fabric, but from the next stitches I'll do it and it doesn't matter if the stitches won't be in the same direction because the fabric is rather long (1,80 mt , about 2 yards if I'm not wrong).

Alla prossima. Up to the next.
